Christmas Nutcrackers
I wanted to introduce the 4th graders to the Nutcracker story before they went to see the ballet on a field trip. We read a children's story of the nutcracker and then learned how to draw a nutcracker. I was a little nervous that the kids might think this project was a little young for them but they loved it! Their nutcrackers looked great too. They only hung in the hall for one day as I wanted them to be able to take them home to their parents for Christmas.
4th grade, off to a great start!
We will start looking at illuminated letters this week.
